Donations

Donations are accepted throughout the year and may be in the form of volunteer time, books or other media, subscriptions, items, materials, equipment and money. A receipt will be given to the donor, though the Mott Public Library is not designated as a charitable organization.

2 E Readers are available for check out at this time. There are 7 Computers for patron use. The Mott Public Library offers no charge Wi-fi Access.

Programs

ALL PROGRAMS HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY SUPSENDED DUE TO COVID

S.T.E.A.M. P.O.W.E.R. Story time and S.T.E.A.M. P.O.W.E.R. after school programs are available throughout the school year. Both programs offer fun and exciting activities pairing Literacy with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. Summer Reading Programs for all ages throughout June, July and August include S.T.E.A.M. activities. U.F.O.s (Unpredictably Fun Occurrences) provide Adults opportunities to enjoy learning a new skill, sharing a skill or just getting together to chat. A writing group is in the beginning stages at this time.

WHAT'S LISTED BELOW HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID

Books deselected from the Mott Public Library Collection are on Swap shelves. (These books are not subject to check in/check out.) Each season the Library hosts swaps. Spring- Seed Swaps, Summer- Art/Supplies, Fall- Produce Swap, Winter- Toys/games. Outreach to local classrooms, child care settings, nursing homes and community organizations to promote literacy is a priority of the Mott Public Library.

The Collection

The Mott Public Library collection contains literacy materials for Adults (16-106), Junior Readers (11-16) and Children (0-11). There are board books, hardcover, paperback, audio and electronic formats. Remember to check out the selection of DVDs rated G, PG, PG-13 and R. Interlibrary Loan is available for those patrons who are willing to pay return postage to the North Dakota State Library.
